SkinConsult
SkinConsult tests cosmetics for safety and legislation. Cosmetics products can thereby be sure that their product is safe and complies with European Union laws and regulations. SkinConsult looks at the entire process of a cosmetic product, from production to aftercare. And they make sure that all documentation and information surrounding the product is also available and in order.
In collaboration with Unmuted, I had the opportunity to design and develop SkinConsult's new website. The old website was very outdated, difficult to modify and contained errors that caused frequent errors. The new website, of course, had to be the exact opposite. Modern, easy to customize and flawless!
Unmuted used wireframes to set up the basics of the most important pages. The goal within that was to establish a clear and compelling story with sufficient call to actions. I then converted these wireframes into a design for the website. In it, I developed a new (house) style for SkinConsult to give the website a modern and fresh look.
I developed the front-end of the website entirely by myself, so no page builder or commercial theme! This ensures that the website contains only code that is actually needed, which makes the website exceptionally fast! Pages can be easily built using ready-made sections to which only text and images need to be added. This ensures consistency throughout the website and SkinConsult does not have to worry about the design or layout of the website. After all, this one always looks good!
